The script was inspired by the lives of several women who went through an abortion experience during the communist era. The fear of having a child after the Chernobyl explosion affected many women. Although abortion was prohibited by law, women were forced by their mothers-in-law to perform this procedure in inhumane conditions.
Our producers, who are known for their organization skills, begin preparing for a shoot long before "lights, camera, action!" They work to ensure that all aspects of the production are in place for a smooth experience. This includes booking talent, securing wardrobe, hair and makeup, and scouting locations for the shoot.
