A woman is forced by her mother-in-law to give birth during the communist period of Romania, since, after the Chernobyl incident, the newborns were born dead or with malformations.
THE FILM CAPTURES AN HOUR AND A HALF OF THE LIFE OF A WOMAN WHO TRIES TO FIND THE COURAGE AND FACE FEAR.
The script was inspired by the lives of several women who went through an abortion experience during the communist era. The fear of having a child after the Chernobyl explosion affected many women. Although abortion was prohibited by law, women were forced by their mothers-in-law to perform this procedure in inhumane conditions.
THE ACTION OF THE FILM TAKES PLACE IN A BORDER VILLAGE, DURING THE COMMUNIST PERIOD, AFTER THE CHERNOBYL EXPLOSION
