Germain Kanda – Director
Germain Kanda, a graduate of UNATC with a specialization in Film Directing between 2011-2014 under the guidance of Professor Laurențiu Damian and with a Master’s in Film Directing between 2014-2016, has been working at StudioSet since 2016 and has been distinguished by winning several awards at international festivals, including the Grand Prize for Experimental Film at the Sichuan TV Gold Panda Awards in 2013 for “Vibration”, as well as Best Director at the Los Angeles Comedy Film Festival in 2021 for “Hippopotamus & Crocodile Hunt”.
Mario-Cristian Marian – Producer
Mario is a graduate of the Faculty of Administration and Business at the University of Bucharest and is currently pursuing his master’s studies at UNAP, specializing in Crisis Management and Conflict Prevention, and at UNATC “I.L. Caragiale” in Film Production. In the field of film production, in 2018 he collaborated with director Tedy Necula on the “Coborâm la prima” project, coordinating the financial department and the marketing and distribution campaign. In 2020 he took over the production of the film “Clouds of Chernobyl” directed by Ligia Ciornei, released in 2022, and recently completed the feature film “Mai departe” (dir. Tedy Necula).
